Accountabilities


Client Engagement


  • Develop strong partnerships with your business stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on talent strategy, hiring plans and market dynamics. Ensure hiring managers understand Etihad’s recruitment model and how to effectively partner with Talent Acquisition.


Recruitment Delivery


  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for your assigned business areas, ensuring the right hiring decisions are made in line with Etihad policies and best practices in partnership with HR Business Partners.


Market Expertise


  • Develop a deep understanding of the aviation commercial talent market, including competitor airlines and adjacent industries, enabling you to provide informed advice to stakeholders on talent availability and hiring strategies. 


Strategic Sourcing


  • Design and execute global sourcing strategies to attract specialist talent across aviation markets. Use a mix of proactive outreach, industry networks and creative sourcing techniques to identify high-quality candidates worldwide.


Recruitment Process Management


  • Own the recruitment lifecycle from workforce planning through to offer acceptance and onboarding, ensuring key milestones are delivered efficiently and consistently.


Assessment & Selection


  • Ensure all candidates are assessed fairly and objectively in line with Etihad’s assessment methodologies and recruitment standards, enabling strong and well-informed hiring decisions.


Talent Pipelining


  • Build and maintain high-quality talent pools for critical commercial and planning roles, ensuring Etihad maintains access to highly specialised talent ahead of demand.


Employer Brand


  • Act as an ambassador for Etihad’s employer brand, positioning the airline as a destination employer for top aviation and commercial talent globally.


Candidate Experience


  • Champion a positive candidate journey, ensuring applicants experience a transparent, engaging and professional recruitment process and can make informed decisions to join Etihad.


Education & Experience


  • Degree educated in any discipline.
  • 7+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within multinational organisations or complex corporate environments.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting for specialist commercial, strategic or analytical functions, ideally within aviation or closely related industries.
  • Strong understanding of global talent acquisition models and best practices, including sourcing strategy, assessment methodologies and recruitment technology.
  • Proven ability to engage with and influence stakeholders up to senior leadership level.
  • Experience operating in complex, fast-paced or high-volume hiring environments.
  • Prior experience in the Middle East business environment is advantageous.
  • Training or experience in structured assessment methodologies (competency frameworks, psychometrics etc.) an advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
